A package has arrived today, a simple mail from New York. I was surprised, because I didn’t know why I got that package.

So, I opened it. And a lovely book in it with simple note made me so happy.

I won a Goodreads giveaway, and I didn’t know the announcement X)

This book actually for my daughter, she is 6 years old and so exciting about mermaids. When she know this book, she pulled out her shoes and sit on the floor, read it before change her clothes from school.

The story is about a witch, she fell off from her mother’s broomstick into the ocean. So, she grew a fin and become The Mermaid Witch. This witch is loveable, she has a lot of friends under the sea. One day, she decided to go on vacation in a peaceful island. But she meet a monkey and she think that he must be stranded in the island. Mr. Monkey threatened to harm her, but the witch always friendly. She even helps the monkey :)

With colorful pages, rhymes and simple sentences, my daughter said that she loves this book. Sometimes, the witch can be friendly and very helpful.

Thanks for the, book. My daughter still curious, where is the New York exactly, even when I said that NY is far far away from Indonesia :D
